This is a guide on how to store files or documents to a client Forum.
Before proceeding: Ensure the document is small and lightweight. PDFs, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents.
Videos, photos, creative assets (like Adobe programs) should be stored to our classic local file server (Files.hiebing.com).

Step 1: Ground Work
First, let's head out to Microsoft SharePoint. You can click this link to navigate to Microsoft SharePoint directly. https://hiebing365.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/sharepoint.aspx/discover
Here, you'll land at the Microsoft SharePoint directory. You can search for and join SharePoint sites like Team Hiebing (should already be in there) and our Forums.
You can either search for your client forum with the top search bar:
Or press enter on Forums, select the `Sites` Tab and see the forums in question:
For our example, we'll select the Culver's Forum. You'll land at the Home Page of Culver's. First, locate the "Add to Favorites" section to the right side of the page:
This is key to allow easy access to the Forum in question when saving within Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or other office apps.
You could also book mark this site for easy navigation within your browser of choice. If you'd like an easy way to favorite ALL FORUMS, click this link for our list of current client forums to one click to and add:

Step 2: Saving (or opening) documents in a Forum.
Let's say you have a brand new client brief document you'd like to save to a client forum. Example below:
I want to save this document the Culver's Forum directly from Word.
First, select Word in the Menu bar and select "Save As". Or on your keyboard, select (Command + Shift + S) to bring up the save as dialog box:
First, before proceeding, ensure the document is named correctly!
Below is a screenshot of the naming convention you can use to name your document appropriately:
When you have named your document, you may see one of two Save As dialog boxes. I have both examples below:
OR
If you see the left most screenshot, select "Online Locations" Option:
From here, click on the Sites option on the left:
Here, you can see any client Forum you've added to your favorites in Microsoft SharePoint web browser side. Here, you can navigate down the appropriate path that the document needs to be saved and save!
Once you hit Save, the document will be ready to access.
